About
Ben Bultrini is a versatile music professional and multi-instrumentalist bringing a global perspective to film scoring, production and sound engineering from his base in Mexico City. Born in Rome and raised in Thailand, Ben leverages a rich international background to write, record, produce, and mix music across genres, from rock and jazz to pop and hip hop. After honing his craft with an Advanced Diploma in Music Production & Sound Engineering from Abbey Road Institute Amsterdam, he served as a Senior Lecturer at SAE Institute Amsterdam and now contributes his expertise at SAE Institute Mexico. He's also expanding his creative horizons by pursuing a diploma in Composition for Film and Audiovisual Media at the Escuela Mexicana de Musica para Cine. He has attended sessions in renowned studios such as Abbey Road, Rockfield, Panoram and Wisseloord Studios. Ben has also assisted workshops with the likes of Andrew Schepps, Luca Pretolesi, Haydn Bendall, and Julio Reyes Capello.
Ben also expresses his artistic vision through his personal projects, including solo work as Norbu which has been recognized on Jazz FM and as one half of the folk-pop duo The Poet & The Bard. Their debut concept EP, Alcobaca, offers a unique 20-minute cinematic listening experience that seamlessly interweaves storytelling, evocative soundscapes, and music.
